The Site is dedicated to the history, genealogy, and news of the Harmer family. It is provided for educational, informational, and non-commercial purposes.

The structure, design, and original content produced by the Association (including the regular newsletters) remain the intellectual property of the Harmer Family Association.

By submitting data, family trees, photos, or documents ("Content") to us:
- You grant the Association a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, archive, and distribute said Content for the purpose of family history research and Association publications.
- You warrant that you own the rights to this Content or have permission from the owner to submit it.
- You warrant that the Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
4. Accuracy of Genealogical Information
Genealogy is an evolving field of research. While we strive for accuracy, the Harmer Family Association cannot guarantee that all family tree data, dates, or historical facts on the Site are 100% error-free. Information is often based on historical records which may be incomplete or illegible.
We welcome corrections and updates from members.
5. User Conduct
When using the Site, you agree not to:
Submit false or misleading information.
Post content that is defamatory, abusive, or invades the privacy of living individuals.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the administrative areas of the WordPress site.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, the Harmer Family Association shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Site or the reliance on any genealogical information provided therein.
